I would like to begin this newsletter by acknowledging the power and kindness of our supporters. As detailed below, we exceeded our fundraising goal for the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) program again this year during Giving Tuesday, allowing us to substantially increase the number of students who benefit from this life-changing experience. Thank you to all who made this possible!
In this, our first newsletter of 2021, we highlight some of the amazing accomplishments of our faculty, provide examples of our highly successful and motivated students engaged in research and share illustrations of the advancements we are making in research and innovation at Kent State University. It is impossible to cover the wealth of discoveries and creations that our faculty and students are making in a newsletter, so I invite you to view more stories at our website and to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
Thank you for your support and my best wishes to you and your loved ones in 2021.
Paul E. DiCorleto, Ph.D. Vice President for Research
