Kent State Announces 2022-23 Women’s Basketball Schedule
Head Coach Todd Starkey announced a rigorous schedule for the upcoming 2022-23 season for the Kent State Women's Basketball team. The Golden Flashes' 29-game regular season schedule includes 15 contests at the MAC Center and three matchups with Power Five programs.
Kent State went 2-0 against these teams last season, taking down 19th-ranked UCLA and Penn State in the Gulf Coast Showcase. The full schedule can be

Volleyball to Host Kent State Invitational This Weekend
The Golden Flashes begin their home schedule this weekend with the Kent State Invitational. The Flashes play Friday night at 7 p.m., Saturday at 10 a.m. and again Saturday at 7 p.m.
Kent State welcomes Southern Indiana, Cornell and Oakland to the MACC.
Volleyball Takes Two Friday at JMU Invitational
Kent State Volleyball posted 3-1 victories over UAlbany and Robert Morris Friday at the James Madison University Invitational, marking a successful debut for Head Coach Haley Eckerman.
Senior Gracey Jarecke earned MAC East Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts during opening weekend, tallying 20-plus digs twice and leading the Golden Flashes’ defense.
Freshman Maia Sarrabayrouse converted a one-timer off a pass from freshman Patricia Strunk during the seventh minute of overtime as Kent State opened the 2022 season with a 1-0 victory over host Indiana Friday afternoon.
The Golden Flashes are in action for a pair of home matches this weekend, taking on Syracuse Friday and Bucknell Sunday. Both games are scheduled for noon.
Flashes Picked to Top MAC East in Annual Coaches Poll
For the second straight year, the Golden Flashes have earned the top spot in the east division in the annual Mid-American Conference Coaches' Poll. The Flashes open up the 2022 season at Washington Saturday night. The game will air on Fox Sports 1 and the Kent State Radio Network.
