Kent State Announces 2022-23 Men’s Basketball Schedule
Head Coach Rob Senderoff has unveiled a tough and exciting schedule for the 2022-23 season, featuring 10 schools that reached the postseason last year and seven of 11 non-conference opponents. Seven teams in the non-conference won 20+ games and five reached the NCAA Tournament, posting a collective winning percentage of .593 (272-186).

Season Ticket Packages Now Available for Men’s and Women’s Hoops
Season ticket packages for the 2022-23 men’s and women’s basketball seasons are now available through the Kent State Ticket Office. Please be sure to reference The Golden Flashes Club benefits chart for required eligibility gifts when purchasing your season tickets. This season offers discounted general admission ticket plans for Kent State faculty and staff.

Flashes Travel to Oklahoma in Final Road Game Before Home Opener
The Golden Flashes got another 100-yard game from Dante Cephas and Andrew Glass who hammered home a pair of field goals against Washington. Kent State stays on the road this weekend, heading to Oklahoma to face the Sooners. Saturday’s game will air on ESPN+ and the Kent State Radio Network. Volleyball Goes 2-1 at Kent State Invitational, Haffner Named MAC Setter of the Week
The Golden Flashes knocked off Southern Indiana and Oakland (MI) at the Kent State Invitational last weekend and sit at 4-2 on the season. Setter Alex Haffner led the Flashes with more than 10 assists per set over the weekend, was named to the All-Tournament team and earned MAC East Setter of the Week honors. Flashes Storm Back to Top Bucknell, Earn Weekend Split
The Golden Flashes answered a two-goal second quarter by Bucknell with a three-goal third to complete a 3-2 comeback win over the Bison. The Flashes now sit at 2-2 on the season with both losses coming to top-10 teams. Kent State heads to Maine this weekend to face Hofstra and the host Bears on Saturday and Sunday.

Hibbett Named Next McLendon Future Leader at Kent State
Kristyn Hibbett will join the Kent State University Athletic Staff as the next "future leader" through McLendon Minority Leadership Initiative (MLI). Hibbett will work on the external side of the athletic department assisting with social media, content creation and fan and student engagement.
Future Flashes Kids Club
The Future Flashes Kids Club is an exclusive club for children 12 years old and younger. The program provides youth the opportunity to interact with the Golden Flashes through events and game day activities. Membership benefits include free admission to select Kent State sporting events when wearing VIP credentials, kids club days at home events, birthday shoutouts and more!

Mid-Season Report Card: Return on Inclusion
The Kent State Athletics Department is at the midway point in its year-long implementation of Return on Inclusion (ROI), an interactive diversity and inclusion program and resource for all coaches and staff.
