Kent State Sets Program Record with 10th Straight Home Win
The Golden Flashes set a new program record with their 10th consecutive home win, a 63-10 victory over the Long Island Sharks in the 2022 home opener Saturday.
The Flashes wrap up the non-conference season with Georgia on Saturday and return home Saturday, Oct. 1 for the homecoming game against Ohio. Tickets are still available for the 3:30 p.m. kickoff and can be purchased at KSUTIX.com.

Volleyball Takes Win Streak to Six, Opens MAC Play at Home vs BGSU
The Golden Flashes dusted Cleveland State in three sets and topped Youngstown State in five sets last week to run their win streak to six games. The Flashes’ 9-2 mark is tops in the MAC East as they head into conference play against pre-season divisional favorite Bowling Green. Friday night’s match starts at 6 p.m. and Saturday’s match at 4 p.m., both games will air on ESPN 3.
Flashes Top App. State to Start MAC Play; Back Home Friday
The Golden Flashes struck twice in the fourth quarter and knocked off the Appalachian State Mountaineers 2-1 to start Mid-American Conference play. The Flashes are back in action Friday when they host Ball State at 2 p.m. at Murphy-Mellis Field.
Soccer to Open MAC Play with Two-Match Week
The Golden Flashes open conference play at home on Thursday night with a key match against the Ohio Bobcats at Zoeller Field at Dix Stadium. It will be Disco Night with a kick off scheduled for 7 p.m. Kent State will make the quick trip over to the Rubber City on Sunday at 1 p.m. for a Wagon Wheel match-up with the Zips.
Wrestling Announces 22-23 Schedule
Kent State head wrestling coach Jim Andrassy is excited to announce the 2022-23 wrestling schedule. The Golden Flashes will host five events this season, split between the MAC Center and the Kent State Field House. The team will also return to a pair of historic events.

Season ticket packages for the 2022-23 men’s and women’s basketball seasons are now available through the Kent State Ticket Office. This season, discounted general admission ticket plans for Kent State faculty and staff for both men’s and women’s basketball are available.

Senior Mayka Hoogeboom earned her first collegiate victory to lead the Kent State Women's Golf team to a tie for third at the season-opening Dick McGuire Invitational.
Flashes Strike Deal with Storytelling Platform FanWord
Kent State has announced a partnership with FanWord and its storytelling product FanWord Stories to help Kent State student-athletes share their experiences and perspectives. Kent State is the first Mid-American Conference member institution to partner with FanWord.
All stories will be a part of the "Kent State of Mind" campaign, a series dedicated to highlighting student-athletes who chose Kent State and the importance of the school's values on their decision.
