An Invitation from the Dean

The ninth in a series of Facebook Live sessions, I invite students, faculty, staff and others to join and participate. I will be discussing careers in nursing, the current pandemic and how Kent State is preparing students to enter the workforce.

For those unable to log in during the live sessions, a recording of each interview will be available for viewing on the university’s Facebook page.

The Kent State community is encouraged to visit Kent State’s coronavirus information page for the latest university updates. For questions regarding COVID-19, call 1-833-4ASKODH or Kent City Health Department at 330-678-8109.

Best regards,

College Provides $20,000 in Support to Nursing Students During Pandemic

Nurses are empathetic, funny, no-nonsense, driven, amazingly compassionate and caring. It really does take a special kind of person to be a nurse, and as nurses do when times get tough, they rally together to take action. This is exactly what the Kent State College of Nursing community has done in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
