As the fall 2019 semester comes to a close, I am pleased to provide an update on the College of Business Administration's many accomplishments.
This fall the Online MBA program was ranked number one out of 15 online MBA programs in Ohio by MBA Central, based on the quality of classes, support services and affordability. This is a remarkable achievement for a program that has only been offered online for two years, and it recognizes the commitment of the faculty and staff to develop and deliver high quality degree programs.
The work of the college also extends beyond the classroom and evolves with new technology. An example is the launch of two new podcast series designed to provide career readiness advice and share business faculty expertise more broadly. Ready for Business launched this fall and features interviews with employers giving advice on topics such as the resume, online branding, and career fairs. Breaking Down Business will launch in the spring and feature faculty discussing timely business topics.
As you will also see in this issue of the newsletter, the fall brought continued success for the award-winning student sales team and chapter recognitions for Delta Sigma Pi and Beta Gamma Sigma.
Wishing you a happy holiday season,
Deborah F. Spake,
Ph.D. Dean,
College of Business Administration

Dress for success is a phrase often heard in the business world. While our students may have all the talent and knowledge needed to begin a successful career, they may not have the funds to purchase a professional suit for interviewing. The Career Clothes Closet initiative was created to help those students.
With your gift this holiday season, you can help a business student get started in his or her career through the Career Clothes Closet. To date, more than 160 students have received suits free of charge thanks to the generosity of donors. To give to this fund, select the "Give Now" button below, check the box next to "I would like to enter my own designation" and type "Career Clothes Closet". Thank you for considering supporting this fund.
